Tenggol Resort, offers a stunning discovery of the true beauty of Tenggol Island and its under water discoveries in its natural and unpolluted habitat, located on the East Coast of MALAYSIA.
Open season is between End of March to October.
LOCATION OF TENGGOL ISLAND
Some 28 KM offshore of Dungun, Terengganu, MALAYSIA. It is a jewel surrounded by turquoise-blue South China Sea, rich in marine life, undisturbed by pollution.
HOW TO GET THERE
From Kuala Lumpur you can drive comfortably to Kuala Dungun, Dungun, Terengganu. The journey will take you about four and half (4 1/2) hours. From Gombak toll you head towards Kuantan via the express way and get off the express way at Jabor toll. From there you can either proceed to Kuala Dungun either via the coastal road towards Kemaman or use the inland Bukit Besi road and at 100 km before Kuala Terengganu you turn right heading to Paka and Kuala Dungun.
If you prefer public transport there are daily express buses leaving Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Dungun and vies versa.
By Air, you can fly to Kuala Terengganu and take a taxi or bus heading south to Kuala Dungun.
From Kuala Dungun Jetty you can take a boat to Pulau Tenggol and the journey is about an hour by speed boat and two and half to three hours by fisherman boat. It is best that your boat ride be pre arranged as there is no pre scheduled boat between the island and the main land.
